The Beach

Pretty much everything we do in Perranporth comes from a desire to be near the sea, a calling in our minds. On the beach or in the ocean is where we belong. Surfing, snorkelling, sailing and generally splashing around. Simple pleasures we can achieve everyday, for our visitors its a special time so we always try to keep the beaches clean and the water too.We also try to keep the beers cold and the chilli hot - make time to chill out.

From Droskyn Point past Chapel Rock down to Penhale Sands (the far end of Perranporth Beach) are 3 miles of glorious sand washed clean by the Atlantic twice a day. There are hundreds of rockpools to search for creatures (please leave them in peace for another tide) and caves once haunted by smugglers and miners, as well as the tidal pool at Chapel Rock. The lifeguards patrol during the summer season for your safety.

There are surf shops along the main strip that will be pleased to advise you and hire equipment, there are also surf schools.
