The Charity (in its present form since 1937) has lands which extend from the railway walk along the former embankment in Perrancoombe and run alongside the stream from the bowling green, lake garden, clock garden, prom garden and sea front car park to the promenade. During the summer holidays, the boats and putting are open in the lake garden for the public.
