Stunning coastal walks on the extensive dune system (which stretches almost a mile inland from Perranporth) can be accessed only a five minute walk away. Offering driveway parking for two or three cars, an enclosed garden, and welcoming pets, Bronfield provides the perfect getaway for all the family (four-legged friends included!).
On the ground floor, the entrance hall opens to the welcoming lounge with two two-seater sofas, ideal for curling up in front of the real fire or watching TV, after a busy day sightseeing. A separate snug, with small sofa and TV, is a great place to enjoy some quiet time, or for the children to enjoy! Double doors open from the snug onto the garden decking.
A ground floor bedroom is furnished with a double bed (4'6?), bedside cabinets and wardrobe, and the family bathroom is also on this floor, fitted with a shower over the bath, a toilet and basin.
The open plan kitchen and diner lends itself to sociable family get togethers, with a dining table and six chairs and equipped with a cosy wood burner. The kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and fridge and the adjoining utility room houses the freezer, microwave, washing machine and two clothes airers (there is also a washing line in the garden).
A back door from the kitchen leads out to the south facing garden where the grass lawn is tiered over two levels. The decked area with seating, and a patio area with large bench seating and barbecue makes the garden a lovely place to sit and enjoy the sun. An outside water supply (and hooks for wetsuits) is perfect for rinsing off after a day on the beach. At the front of the house there is a patio area with picnic bench from which to enjoy the evening sun and an alternative outdoor view!
Upstairs are a further two bedrooms. The master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed (5'), chest of drawers and wardrobe, and benefits from countryside views and an ensuite with shower cubicle, toilet, basin and heated towel rail. A twin bedroom has two single beds (3' each) and bedroom storage and also benefits from views of the countryside.
The property is heated by both gas central heating and night storage heaters and is in the tranquil hamlet of Rose on Cornwall's spectacular north coast. It is less than a five-minute drive to Perranporth, known for its fabulous three-mile-long sandy beach, dunes, surf, clifftop views and family friendly facilities. It's also a great location from which to explore the rest of Cornwall: the cathedral city of Truro and stunning beaches of Newquay are only eight miles away, and a variety of Cornwall's best tourist attractions and places of interest can all be found within a short drive, including the Eden Project, St Ives, Padstow and Falmouth.
