25/08/2019 - Mount Edgecumbe Summer Fete

Fun day out for all the family

Turn back the clock and enjoy English tradition at its best at the Summer Fete, being held in the stunning surroundings of Mount Edgcumbe Country Park this August.

This fabulous family-friendly day out is brought to you by Miss Ivy Events and will provide a whole host of fun and entertainment for young and not so young alike.

There will be lots to see and do – an extensive array of crafts will be on display at the many artisan stalls, providing tempting opportunities to purchase unique and unusual gifts – you can even try your hand at getting creative yourself at one of the workshops taking place during the day. There will be entertainment with performances and great live music from stunning jazz artist Becky Brine. The children will have a wonderful time with the bouncy castle, hoop workshops and traditional games and don’t forget to bring Fido along too – there will be a fun charity dog show to enjoy as well.

Delicious food and drink will be served throughout the day – and it wouldn’t be a summer fete without that most British of summer drinks – Pimms, which will be available at the hugely popular Pimms Bar.

The Great British Summer Garden Fete on Sunday, August 25th will be staged at the bottom of the park near the Orangery. Right by the sea and overlooking Plymouth Sound, historic Mount Edgcumbe provides a unique setting for a really memorable day out and it’s easy to get to by road or by ferry from Plymouth (see www.plymouthboattrips.co.uk)
Entry to the fete costs just £3, under 16’s free. Parking charges apply in all car parks at this venue
