The main bus stop is located on Beach Road to the right-hand side of Perranporth Surgery as you look at it. This bus stop services buses going in both directions. The main services that operates from Perranporth are the U1 and U1A which is a circular route from Newquay to Truro and Falmouth via Perranporth, the service runs hourly.

Drive out of Perranporth heading towards Goonhavern past the Golf Club, at the very top of the hill before the road bears to the right, turn into Perran Sands Holiday Park. Park up and in front of you is a gate which takes you onto the common. Follow the white stones to the Oratory and The Lost Church.

Walk across Perranporth Beach past The Watering Hole to the first set of rocks and climb the steps to the cliffside, on the left hand side slightly hidden you will find the concrete memorial bench.
You can choose to join the coast path at Flat Rocks to head North to the nearest stop Holywell Bay then onto Newquay and beyond or join the footpath at the top of Droskyn to head South to the first stop Trevellas then St Agnes and beyond.
There are two Co-op mini markets in Perranporth, both sell general groceries. Truro and Newquay are both equal distance away and there you will find Supermarkets, such as Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Tesco and Lidl.

Yes, our 3-mile-long beach is dog friendly all year around. There are restrictions in July and August when dogs must be kept on a short lead in the main area up to the flat rocks.
There is no longer a bank in Perranporth, although Lloyds bank to have a mobile unit situated at Wheal Leisure Carpark on a Monday, Weds and Thursday morning. Daily banking can be done at the post office also.
