Twenty-nine years ago, Heligan’s historic gardens were unknown and unseen; lost to the brambles of time since the outbreak of WW1. It was only the chance discovery of a door in the ruins that led to the restoration of this once great estate. Today, The Lost Gardens have been put back where they belong: in pride of place among the finest gardens in England.

Returning to the events calendar for 2019 is the Falmouth New Year’s Eve fireworks display! Sponsored by the Royal Duchy Hotel, part of the Brend Hotels group, and hosted by Pendennis Castle, the display will be the perfect way to welcome in the new year! View the display from various locations along the seafront at midnight. Please note the castle will not be open to the public in the evening, it is just the launch area.
