01/06/2019 - Fal River Festival
Join in the celebrations with The Greenbank Fal River Festival 2019.
The 2019 festival will take place in Cornwall's most popular visitor destination from Friday 24th May to Sunday 2nd June.
This fantastic 10 day celebration is a not-for-profit community festival which encompasses over 150 events varying from music & drama, the arts & heritage to gig racing, swimming, walking & lots more.
The festival was established in 2006 and will be running for its 14th year in 2019. It's a chance to embrace the places, people, history, culture, sport & industry that are connected by this very Cornish river.
With its diverse mix of events taking place at dozens of locations around the Fal River, the festival offers something for everyone and is the perfect opportunity to engage with life on the river and discover some of its fascinating history.
01/06/2019 - Great Estate Festival
....to the blossoming grounds of Scorrier House for three days of mystical mayhem and monumental madness. Combining headline artists, cabaret, burlesque, Mexican wrestling and Victorian-themed sporting events, The Great Estate is a dynamic fusion of music, art and food. Enriched with eccentric surprises and show-stopping performances, this unique festival takes place from Friday 31st May – Sunday 2nd June 2019. Tickets are on sale now via the website

Heady Conduct Theatre company perform one of Shakespeare's hidden gems All's Well that Ends Well at The Minack Theatre. Having just performed around the world receiving brilliant reviews for their work, this will be the first time the company has performed at the icon theatre on the cliff side at Porthcurno.
All’s Well That Ends Well is Shakespeare’s upended love story of first loves and forced affection. Heady Conduct brings this classic work to life with their acclaimed originality, mischief and delight.
Performance dates and time: All’s Well that Ends Well runs from 3rd – 7th June. Evening Performance 8pm, matinées on Tuesday and Thursday 2:00pm.

It’s the county’s biggest annual event and is brim-full of exhibits and activities which offer so much in the way of entertainment, competition, information, shopping and all that’s best in food and farming.
It's a time and place to meet old friends, conduct business, enjoy Cornwall in all its glory and to welcome thousands of visitors from outside our county.
More than two centuries later our aim is to keep raising the standard. It's good for agriculture, good for tourism, good for the economy, the environment and good for the soul!
This is a top agricultural show which attracts increasing numbers of animals, entered into the hundreds of classes which are refined each year. And year on year people travel from further and further afield in the hope of coming away with an award.
Dog and goat sections; rare breed classes. A top flower show and thriving countryside area. Rabbits, cage birds, pigeons - even bees get noticed here!
We support and promote Cornish-grown and Cornish-produced food both in the trade section and in our own cafes and restaurants.
Main ring entertainment is mounted on a grand scale and the traditional steam fair is a colourful extravaganza; there are stages and avenues alive with music, song and dance.
You can come to the Royal Cornwall Show with a single-minded ambition to buy a tractor or a car. Here is where you will see them all on display.

Get set for a weekend of creativity, music, dance and relaxation. The Big Tent at Holifield is more than just a festival; it is a feast for the senses!
Holifield Farm, set in the beautiful hamlet of Gweek, is hosting its 19th Big Tent Festival this summer. We are proud to celebrate another year of this inclusive and accessible weekend for people with special needs, their families, carers and the wider community.
The weekend of festivities starts on Friday 7th of June at 11am until Sunday 9th June after breakfast. With a wide range of activities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy – craft and dance workshops, massage, face painting, yoga – there really is something for everyone.

Brian McFadden is the Irish singer-songwriter, radio and TV presenter who has sold tens of millions of records as a member of the iconic boy band Westlife and throughout his solo career.
Born and raised in Dublin, McFadden always showed an interest in music. He joined Westlife in 1998 aged just 18, and the group quickly grew into one of the most successful boy bands in history. Some of the band’s songs include ‘You Raise Me Up’, ‘Swear It Again’, ‘Flying Without Wings’, ‘Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You’ and Comic Relief charity single ‘Uptown Girl’

Soak up the calming sea views and breathe in the clean Cornish air with a FREE yoga event to recognise Global Wellness Day this summer. On this day all over the world countries will be holding similar events to raise awareness of looking after our individual wellness and that of others.

Trevose Golf and Country Club
Trevose will play host of the second new event to be announced for the 2019 Staysure Tour season, the Farmfoods European Legends Links Championship.
The event will be played in the Staysure Tour’s popular Alliance format, which gives amateur golfers the opportunity to experience a golf tournament inside the ropes as they are paired with a professional golfer for two rounds in a separate competition – the action then focuses on the pros for the final round.

22/06/2019 - The Big Doggy Day Out
The Big Doggy Day Out Summer Festival’ will take place at the Royal Cornwall Showground in Wadebridge, on the weekend of the 22nd-23rd June.
The event has been expanded from a single day to a full action-packed weekend – with have-a-go agility and hoopers, cani-cross, Canine Olympics, Flyball displays and have-a-go with 4×4 Flyball Club and grooming demos from Pampered Pooches, as well as talks and workshops from dog behaviourists, trainers and canine first aid specialists including Andrew Hale and Paws & Praise, among other attractions.

Based at Watergate Bay Rock 2 Rock, Lets Rock, is a combination of beach music festival and sunset beach run finishing with fireworks. We want to encourage all ages and abilities to get active on the beach so have a 2k or 5k run available, or you can run both.
Before the run we have some amazing music artists performing and once the sunset run is complete, we have an amazing 9 piece band performing finishing with a fantastic fireworks display!
With a great medal on offer and food vendors to purchase food, come along to this family event and enjoy a great evening!
